If you think it’s too long then don’t watch it. In this opening segment I discuss the major flaw of The Phantom Menace which is the characters and the lack of connection with the audience.

The film begins with Avinash Subodh Bhave being brought to a bungalow in an injured condition on a rainy day. A journalist, he is confined there as he tries to expose corrupt politician Shripatrao Sayaji Shinde during his election campaign and gets beaten up by his goons. Raavee Amruta Subhash too comes there with her group of friends. Avinash and Raavee come face to face and recognise each other despite several years of separation. When the rain stop, it gives way to a new day and a new life.
